Vindicated's Signature Manga Box Design

At Vindicated we’re always looking for ways to improve our games. Whether that be from gameplay experience, to thinking outside the box (puns always intended).

When thinking of every aspect of our games, we were thinking of how our Spellslingers and Ghoullotine games lack a certain pizzaz when it comes to its box designs. Granted, for those games, being in a small, portable box is part of their features and charms!

Considering our games are heavily anime-inspired, it only made sense that we look towards this as a solution to a better box design…

Introducing The Signature Manga Box Design

Heartseeker is our first game to adopt this design, but it’s not our first published game to adopt it (that would be Black Paper Moon). Even so, Heartseeker breathed life into the design, taking elements from the anime dating sim genre, turning that into a board game and styling its box after a manga!

***Heartseeker will be on Kickstarter in February 2023.

Black Paper Moon

This spooky and whimsical TTRPG, inspired by Soul Eater just finished funding on Kickstarter in November. We’ve placed the order and expect it early Q2 at the latest!

We can’t be more excited for these two games and all the others we have planned for release!

As we get bigger, we’ll be able to include more additions to our Manga Box Design, such as magnetic closing lids and more accurate sizing. In any case, these versions have been a hit among fans and we’re eager to see them added to your collections!

Anyways, it’s been great seeing the positive reception for these new boxes and we can’t wait to see them build in your collection!
